Oblong Polka Dots

Off to the Country Village we went for the first time and it was so sublime! There were chickens roaming freely, a  train ride for the kiddies and their parents to enjoy, many shops with antiques, homemade candies, organic gardening and gifts. You could have hot dogs and ice cream or coffee and sandwiches, a hearty Italian meal or just take in the scenery. There was an old boat, an aviary, duck sanctuary and little pathways lined with shrubbery and flowers all leading to miniature bridges! It was such a warm and inviting experience that we’ll surely be back. We even left with a lovely whirligig in the shape of a toucan to put along the fence in our yard!
